Ama Dablam southwest face from Khumjung, Khumbu Himal, Nepal Ama Dablam means "mother with necklace", and she dominates the landscape and the trek from Namche to Everest. The normal route follows the south ridge - approximately the righthand skyline into the centre of the summit snowface.
